Thank you so much for visiting and commenting!
I think I have just moved it into a first spot cos it deserves it. I am still in the editing while post is already posted. Sorry for that. :-) But it’s my favourite one too. It’s from Zurich, Switzerland last year’s August (2013) and that was their city decoration for the summer. Pretty cool, I think. :-)
thanks for the like for my ‘street life’ photo. Yours are a blast! I especially like the third one with the lone gentleman sitting on a bench–my kind of street.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yeah, that is Zurich, Switzerland. I love this shot, too. Very quiet midweek afternoon. The walk through the city was a bliss back then. :-)
The first picture is excellent: the composition directs your eyes perfectly to the decorative cloths and the color palette is gorgeous It really gives you that sense of otherworldliness of a foreign city. Very beautiful.
I love seeing how other people meet common problems and solve them. That double skateboard track through the cobbles is a great example: people being people. Can’t beat it. Photos are nothing without imagination and communication, you have both—and capture human nature. Brill~!
Thank you for your kind words! See, I’ve never actually thought of it that way. Probably because I don’t use skateboard myself. But it’s a very good observation. :-)
I especially like the second shot!

My grandparents were from Prague. It would be nice to travel there one day. They immigrated to Canada in the early 20th century. Lovely photos.
