In New Zealand they forced a law through requiring all swimming pools to be ‘childproof fenced’ … when I asked if they were going to do all the creeks, streams, lakes, and the thousands of miles of coastline too they went briefly silent …
Looks like this one may have been taken in the Netherlands. When it was designed, probably somewhere in the 1960s as the beautiful lines indicates, people perhaps still had to be nudged at using a traffic button.
